Kitchen or kitchenette in Playas de Liencres - Hotel & Apartamentos
A very pleasant hotel, great apartment overlooking the pool and surrounding countryside. A very handy location for the ferry port, a straight forward 15 minute journey away. Equally so, I would say that this would make a great base to explore the beautiful Cantabrian landscape, I am sure that I will return to do just that. However I do have a criticism and that is that the restaurant was closed both in the evening and the morning. In the evening this was mitigated by there being a small and lively cafe/bar attatched where i was able to get a damn good pizza. Unfortunately in the morning the cafe was not open so no breakfast was available, not a disaster as I went into Santander for breakfast but it does mean that I have marked down the rating because of this.

Lots of things to do for all the family, and there is a little playground and football/basketball play area just across the road as well as a lovely walk by the river down the hill. There was always a nice variety of food at dinner time. Over our 4 nights we always ate something different. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything! Super price, comfy beds, lots of room, a great kitchenette. A pool, good grocery store on the premises, helpful staff and the place was empty! Shout out to Paula for helping us make phone calls when our technology bombed, and for helping get us a taxi to go over the railroad so we don't have to hike miles out of our way around them.

Very clean and spacious apartment with a view of the surrounding pastures and river. We were upgraded to to river view apartment. The staff at the resort was very helpful. There is also a large pool with lots of deck chair space. Great place to spend a few days. We will definitely return.
